How to install CrewCore

Install steps

  1. Grab the Steam / Itch.io package

    Open the download and pick Steam / Itch.io. A one-time Cloudflare check may appear.

  2. Open your Among Us folder

    In Steam, right-click Among Us then Manage - Browse local files. On Itch.io, open the app, select Among Us and show local files.

  3. Extract into that folder

    Drop everything from the package into the Among Us folder. BepInEx and the ModMenuCrew plugin are already inside - nothing else to install.

  4. Launch and press F1

    Start the game. The first launch is slower while BepInEx builds its cache, then it is normal. Press F1 when CrewCore loads.

Install steps

  1. Grab the Epic / MS / Xbox package

    Open the download and pick Epic / Microsoft / Xbox. This is the 64-bit build for those stores.

  2. Open your Among Us folder

    Epic: usually C:\Program Files\Epic Games\AmongUs (or Library - Among Us - Manage to confirm). Microsoft Store / Xbox: the game sits in the protected WindowsApps folder - follow the BepInEx guide closely.

  3. Extract into that folder

    Drop everything from the package into the Among Us folder. BepInEx and the plugin are included together.

  4. Launch and press F1

    Start Among Us. First launch is slower while BepInEx sets up. Press F1 when CrewCore loads.

  1. Confirm BepInEx already works

    You should already see BepInEx load with Among Us. If not, use a complete package above instead.

  2. Grab the DLL only file

    Open the download and pick DLL only. It is just the plugin, no loader.

  3. Drop it in the plugins folder

    Put the file in Among Us\BepInEx\plugins. Replace an older CrewCore DLL if one is there.

  4. Launch and press F1

    Start Among Us and press F1. If the menu does not appear, check the plugins folder and that no outdated DLL is left behind.

Before you install

Keep it to one package. A Steam or Itch.io copy uses the 32-bit build; an Epic, Microsoft Store or Xbox copy uses the 64-bit build. Mixing them is the most common reason the menu never shows up.

A Cloudflare check may appear once in the download flow - it is a quick anti-abuse step, not a survey. Complete it once and continue.

Always download from this page rather than reposted mirrors, so the BepInEx loader and plugin versions actually match.

If F1 does nothing

  • Confirm you used the package that matches your store (32-bit vs 64-bit).
  • Check that BepInEx generated its folders on the first launch - if not, the files landed in the wrong directory.
  • Make sure only one CrewCore DLL is in BepInEx\plugins.
  • On Microsoft Store or Xbox, re-read the BepInEx guide - the protected folder needs extra care.

Which download should I choose?

Pick by the store your game came from. Steam or Itch.io use the Steam / Itch.io package (32-bit). Epic, Microsoft Store and Xbox use the Epic / Microsoft / Xbox package (64-bit). Choose DLL only if BepInEx is already installed.

Where is my Among Us folder?

Steam: right-click Among Us, then Browse local files. Itch.io: open the itch app and show local files. Epic: usually C:\Program Files\Epic Games\AmongUs. Microsoft Store and Xbox keep the game in the protected WindowsApps folder.

Does the package include BepInEx?

Yes. The CrewCore Mod Loader APK is available for Android 9+ phones. Download it from the hub, install the APK, then sign in with Discord.
