The full step-by-step flow
This is the exact path the CrewCore free key takes, in the order users encounter it. Each step lists what you should see, the common failure mode, and the fix.

Confirm CrewCore is installed and prompting for a key
Launch Among Us with the CrewCore package extracted into the correct game folder. Press F1. You should see the CrewCore menu open with an activation field.
- F1 opens the menu and asks for a key - you are in the right place; continue to step 2.
- F1 opens the menu but does not ask for a key - you are already activated for this session; close this guide.
- F1 does nothing - the mod did not load. This is an install problem, not a key problem.

Open the Get Key tab on crewcore.online
Visit crewcore.online and click Get Key in the top navigation, or open /#key directly. The Get Key tab loads with the verification flow.
Important: The sponsor step opens in this same page and brings you back automatically. Your progress is saved in the browser, so reloading will not lose it, but the 15-minute window keeps running.

Log in with Discord (OAuth)
Click Login with Discord. The standard Discord OAuth screen opens.

Complete the Cloudflare Turnstile check
A small Verify you are human widget appears. One click is enough - Turnstile is privacy-preserving and shows no CAPTCHA images; the check itself is performed by Cloudflare.
Widget never appears? An adblocker (uBlock, AdGuard), Brave Shields, Pi-hole, or a strict DNS filter is blocking challenges.cloudflare.com. Allow that domain and reload the page.

Complete the two sponsor links
The Get Key tab shows two short steps: Step 1: Open the sponsor link and Step 2: Unlock your key. Each link is served by Linkvertise or LootLabs depending on availability; both work the same way.
- Click Start Step 1. The sponsor link opens, takes about a minute, and brings you back automatically.
- Click Start Step 2. One more sponsor link, then your key appears.
- Watch the short ad / sponsor step on each link.
- Return to the CrewCore Get Key tab after Step 2 - it now shows your key.
Never download anything a sponsor page prompts. Each sponsor page is run by Linkvertise or LootLabs and shows their ads under their own policies. Why the sponsor links exist: they are how the free CrewCore service is funded so the free tier stays at no cost. Premium users skip both steps.

Copy your key and paste it in Among Us
Your key appears in the Your Key field on the Get Key tab. Click the key to copy, or use the Copy button.
- Alt-Tab to Among Us.
- Press F1 if the menu is not already open.
- Paste the key into the activation field.
- Press Activate (or Enter).

Why the 2-step flow exists
CrewCore is a free Among Us mod menu with 250+ features. To keep the free tier sustainable, the free key path is paid for by two short sponsor links (Linkvertise or LootLabs) plus a Cloudflare Turnstile bot check.
The Cloudflare check stops bots from draining the key pool. The sponsor links fund the servers (Discord OAuth, key generation, Premium HWID binding, certificate pinning). Together they take about two minutes the first time and about one minute on later sessions because the Discord login stays active for 24 hours and renews while you use the site.
Premium replaces both steps with a paid subscription so users who play often can skip the sponsor task and keep a persistent key for the full plan duration. The free path stays first-class - no feature is hidden behind Premium other than role rotation removal, Kick All Non-Host, Phantom God Mode, Rainbow Host, and same-color-for-all.
What data CrewCore keeps
The Get Key flow stores the minimum needed to validate your key:
- Discord ID + username - from the OAuth identify scope, plus your membership in the CrewCore server from guilds.members.read.
- Device binding - your PC's identifier, attached the first time the key is activated (anti-sharing).
- Generated key strings - up to 5 active per account.
- Premium plan state - if you purchased a plan, the Stripe customer ID and plan expiry.
No DMs, no email (Discord OAuth identify scope does not expose email), your IP address is stored with the key and in access logs (see the Privacy Policy for retention), and no telemetry beyond what is needed to deliver the mod.
After you activate the key
Once the key is accepted, the CrewCore menu unlocks. The first F1 press toggles the menu on; F1 again toggles it off. The mod menu is divided into tabs - Cheats, Player, Host Controls, Sabotage, Animations, Extras, Settings, Misc, Spoofing - and the active tab depends on your role (host or non-host).
Free users get all 250+ features plus one weekly rotating role from Viper / Phantom / Shapeshifter (resets every Saturday UTC). Premium users get all three roles every session, plus the Premium-only feature set: Kick All Non-Host, Phantom God Mode, Rainbow Host, same color for all, and instant activation on every new machine they sign in to.
Your key remains valid for the rest of the Among Us session.
